here we go round again, the great merry-go-debate, my boss, as has many before him tried the old interaction with the less fruitful members of staff routine again i.e me.
It allways starts the same 'you dont look like your happy' deal, i tell him im bored, he starts talking about maybe moveing up in the company, i try to explain that its not all because of my daily routine work wise, its the ethics, the attitude and the way things are run, he takes it personally he gets a little aggressive, i try an sympathise with his position an tell him its not him personally, as far as bosses go he is one of the better ones (its true) i tell him i just dont enjoy 'the way it is', he repeats that perhaps i should try internally for another position, i tell him it would be the same there, he loses his rag an tells me if i dont like it then i know what i can do, i tell him ive worked a lot of jobs an they are all pretty much the same endless drawl and have been through this conversation many times, he walks away. He gets a promotion and a new boss comes she approaches me to see how im getting on as i look a little detached.
